问题： erratum publication 会如何反映作者名单的修改？

老师您好， 我的文章在贵公司进行了论文润色，已被刊物录用，并确认了 PROOF，但没有交出版费。在交出版费之前，我想加一个作者，但编辑是这样回复的：Dear Dr , Thank you for your email. To correct this specific error appropriately our guidelines determine that the publication cannot be updated to correct the author list, but there is still the option of this being corrected by means of an erratum. An erratum is a separate publication that is published online, stating the original error and the correction that you wish readers to be made aware of. An erratum is identified with a digital object identifier [DOI] and linked to the original article via its DOI, as a result changes identified via an erratum will appear on all electronic searches for the publication and thus notify your readers of the change in scientific content. Citations of other researchers will remain intact. 勘误（erratum）一般都是发表在论文发表后几期的期刊中，用来纠正已发表文章中的错误，大多数文章跟勘误在电子数据库中都是连结在一起的。
编辑的邮件清楚说到发表的文章不会有这个作者的名字，但因为文章跟勘误是互相连结的，这个修改会出现在所有的电子搜索结果中，对于加入作者的数据检索应该不会有任何问题。不过最好还是跟编辑最后确认一下。
